Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Major Projects Director for its Rail Transportation team based in Dublin. The role involves leading multi-disciplinary rail infrastructure projects, with Chartered engineer credentials and extensive consultancy experience.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level (level 8/9 engineering).
• Postgraduate experience in consultancy environment.
• Chartered with Engineers Ireland or equivalent.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects in Ireland/UK/Europe.
• Ability to manage design teams and develop client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead major multi-disciplinary transportation projects as Major Projects Director.
• Serve as Project Manager/Project Director on major railway infrastructure projects.
• Own contract/commercial management responsibilities.
• Coordinate with Engineering Directors/Managers to manage the design process.
• Line manage and mentor junior staff including Senior Project Managers.
• Develop tender proposals, lead bids and win new commissions.
