Job summary

Alstom in Dublin is seeking a Warranty Technician to join the Traincare Centre. You’ll apply electrical systems knowledge on Dart+ trains, perform testing and commissioning per pre-written procedures, and report to the Train Manager.

You’ll handle coupling activities, static and dynamic tests, and warranty issue resolution, with software uploads and special processes like crimping and torque tightening. The role requires fault finding with depot teams, adherence to safety standards, and

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with NCC or equivalent is required.
• Experience with electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics.
• Able to read electrical drawings and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out testing and commissioning on Dart+ trains per procedures.
• Handle coupling activities and warranty issues.
• Provide technical support to depot teams for fault-finding and train maintenance.
• Upload software and perform asset repairs/upgrades.
• Drive company vehicles for depot operations as needed.
