Job summary

Brightwater is hiring an Installation Technician to join our team serving the Dublin/Kildare area and beyond. You will work with a team to offload and prepare equipment for installation, perform mechanical and basic electrical tasks, and support commissioning and start-up of systems.

This role requires hands-on experience in engineering or construction, a full driving license, and the ability to travel nationwide with overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical or electrical experience in an engineering or construction environment.
• Full valid driving license.
• Comfortable working within strict safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Offload and prepare equipment for installation.

• Assist with commissioning and start-up of the system.

About the Company Our client is a growing provider of automated storage systems to highly regulated industries who are hiring an Installation Technician to join their team based in the Dublin/Kildare area. This job will be a good fit for someone with previous mechanical/electrical hands‑on installation/maintenance experience who wants to grow their career with a specialist equipment provider. Please note that this position will require nationwide travel and overnight stays during the week.

About the Position

As Installation Technician, your job will be to work as part of a team offloading and preparing equipment for installation. Mechanical installation work of company equipment. Assisting with commissioning and start‑up of the system. Basic electrical installation and fault finding. Daily inspections of equipment. Completing relevant paperwork and following safety procedures/site regulation. Any other duties as required.

Experience/Requirements

For this Installation Technician job, you will have previous hands‑on mechanical or electrical experience in an engineering or construction environment. You will also have a full drivers license and comfortable working within strict safety standards.
