Job summary

CEL Critical Power Limited is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our production team in Dublin. Reporting to a Production Supervisor, you will perform electrical assembly, wiring and fault finding on switchgear and critical power equipment to the highest standards of quality and safety.

The role offers full training and progression within the company, with a 39-hour week, 23 days annual leave, and a competitive hourly rate of €18.74.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical assembly, panel building or switchgear manufacturing.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Physically able to stand, bend and lift up to 23 kg.
• Commitment to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety procedures and use tools safely.
• Read schematics to build switchgear panels.
• Perform wiring, cable termination and labelling.
• Assemble sub-assemblies and busbar components.
• Identify and rectify electrical faults and non-conformances.
• Maintain quality, torque, alignment and finish standards.
• Keep workspace clean and audit-ready.
• Assist with packing finished products for shipment.
• Support other departments as required.
