Job summary

Rhomberg Sersa Ireland is seeking an Assistant Engineer to contribute to track alignment control and rail construction projects across Ireland. You will work under senior engineers on day-to-day technical management of alignment control, quality assurance and asset management systems.

The role offers clear career progression within a growing rail group, with training opportunities and exposure to modern mechanised infrastructure methods.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering (required)
• Full Clean Driving Licence (required)
• 2 years work experience (required)
• IT / Technology Proficiencies (preferred)
• Familiarity with modern land surveying methods is desirable

Responsibilities

• Day to day technical management of alignment control in support of track maintenance activities.
• Client liaison including works planning, technical brief analysis and communication, works support and reporting.
• Quality management including data gathering and analysis, and management of high value equipment.
• Assistance in preparing technical and commercial submissions for future tenders.
