Job summary

Apple seeks an early‑career Site Reliability Engineer to help build and maintain the Radar infrastructure, Apple’s unified platform for bug tracking and work management. You’ll monitor, troubleshoot, and improve microservices to keep the system fast, reliable, and healthy across teams in California, Texas, and Ireland.

Qualifications

• Solid scripting or programming skills in Python, Bash, Java, or similar language.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals.
• Experience with version control (Git) and SDLC understanding.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and performance of Radar’s services, and respond to alerts and incidents.
• Build and improve dashboards, alerting, run books, and telemetry.
• Investigate production issues and contribute to root cause analysis and follow‑up fixes.
• Automate operational tasks with scripts and tooling.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation with support from senior engineers.
• Follow and help improve the team’s operational best practices.
