Job summary

Apple is seeking an early-career Java Engineer for the Radar Platform team. You will help build and run Java-based backend services powering Radar, Apple’s platform for bug tracking and work management.

Qualifications

• Solid programming skills in Java with OO design and algorithms.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with version control (Git) and SDLC.
• Experience building REST APIs or backend services (Spring).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test backend features in Java for Radar’s services.
• Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Break down features with senior engineers into well-scoped tasks and deliver on schedule.
• Investigate and resolve production issues with the team and Ops partners.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and documentation.
• Follow and help improve engineering best practices.
