Job summary

BD in Limerick is seeking an experienced R&D Electronics Manager to lead the MMS electronics team, drive innovation, and ensure high-quality, regulated product development for infusion platforms.

You will shape strategy, mentor engineers, oversee CAPA and audit readiness, and collaborate across functions to deliver on regulatory and corporate priorities.

This on-site role requires leadership and strong communication in a fast-paced, global medical technology environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Engineering.
• Significant experience in R&D or product development environments.
• Experience leading engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems in regulated development.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the MMS electrical and electronic engineering team.
• Provide technical mentorship across new product development and sustaining projects.
• Drive engineering standards, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Lead complex root cause investigations, failure analysis, and problem-solving activities.
• Be responsible for CAPA execution, audits, and compliance with quality assurance frameworks.
• Manage product lifecycle activities, including component obsolescence and EOL replacement strategies.
• Deliver project plans, timelines, and technical objectives aligned to business priorities.
• Coach and mentor engineering talent while fostering a high-performance culture.
