Job summary

BD is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for our Limerick site to support advanced infusion technologies. You will drive NPD and sustainment within a global, multi-functional environment.

You will translate diverse inputs into clear requirements, guide design reviews, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role is on-site 4 days per week in Limerick, offering the chance to influence patient care at a leading MedTech company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or Science with a strong Systems Engineering background in medical devices.
• Experience in cross-functional, global teams including regulatory, quality and software.
• Familiarity with IEC 60601 and IEC 62304 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute product development, verification and validation activities.
• Coordinate system-level development including requirements, architecture and testing.
• Lead design reviews and translate inputs into clear product requirements.
• Collaborate with global teams and external partners to ensure robust system behavior.
