Job summary

Inform3 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor in Cork to manage commercial aspects of residential developments. The role involves managing budgets, contractual agreements, and project expenditures while offering long-term career progression.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline and over 5 years of experience in major housing projects. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor or developer.
• Strong experience delivering high-value housing or apartment developments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of major residential developments.
• Prepare, negotiate and agree budgets, costs and project variations.
• Monitor project expenditure and resolve commercial queries as they arise.
• Attend pre-contract and commercial meetings with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Prepare and maintain procurement schedules.
• Prepare subcontract packages and contract documentation.
• Produce cost reports and valuations to monitor project performance.
