  • Ensure every project is delivered within approved financial limits and contractual requirements.
  • Review project requests, analyse feasibility and deliverability, and manage client and stakeholder expectations.
  • Develop and maintain detailed programme schedules aligned with budget objectives, resource availability and delivery timelines.
  • Run procurement and contract management for contractors, consultants and suppliers, working closely with the framework vendor.
  • Identify value engineering opportunities and manage commercial and delivery risk, allocating risk owners.
  • Lead coordination across surveying, engineering, construction, procurement and regulatory teams, reporting regularly to senior leadership, clients and partners.
  • Control works and contractor programmes to best‑practice health and safety standards, on budget and on time.
  • Provide governance and technical oversight to operational teams across the portfolio.
  • Establish and lead the account reconciliation process for completed works.
  • Ensure all works comply with relevant legislation, codes, environmental standards and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • A degree in quantity surveying, construction, building surveying or project management.

  • Experience delivering a programme of capital, refurbishment or lifecycle works from planning through to completion.
  • A technical bias, with a sound understanding of building services and building fabric.
  • Strong governance, reporting and risk management, ideally with project office experience.
  • Working knowledge of health and safety law and construction regulations.
  • Ability to stay focused on day‑to‑day performance while pursuing longer‑term opportunities.
