Job summary

Arcon Recruitment Services is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a West of Ireland opportunity. The role focuses on managing project costs, valuations and subcontractor packages across residential and commercial projects in County Mayo.

A strong cost-control mindset and excellent stakeholder communication are essential. The successful candidate will oversee budgets from tender to final account, liaise with clients and suppliers, and drive profitability on multiple sites in Mayo.

Qualifications

Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
3+ years' experience with a main contractor or subcontractor.
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
Experience on residential and/or commercial projects.
Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

Manage project costs from tender stage through to final account.
Prepare valuations, variations and cost reports.
Procure and manage subcontractor packages.
Monitor budgets and project profitability.
Liaise with clients, suppliers and site teams.
