Job summary

Vickerstock is seeking an experienced Quality Trainer for a six-month contract in County Monaghan. You will lead hands-on training for production operators, elevating quality/technical competencies and embedding robust QA practices on site.

The role requires a proven background in quality/technical management within food manufacturing, with strong auditing knowledge and the ability to coach teams to work independently. A hands-on, independent working style is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality/technical management within food manufacturing.
• Proven track record training and developing QA/technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP, etc.).
• Experience with internal auditing and supplier approvals.
• Ability to train operators to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Train and upskill current factory floor operators in Quality and Technical procedures
• Provide hands-on training around company policies and procedures
• Support training in supplier approval processes
• Train operators in internal auditing and related quality duties
• Provide practical guidance and support throughout the six-month period
• Develop operators' knowledge and confidence to work independently within QA
• Ensure training is delivered effectively and in line with site requirements
