Job summary

Sanmina Fermoy in Ireland seeks a Quality Technician on a 24-month fixed-term contract. The role focuses on monitoring and improving customer-related quality processes, performing in-process testing, and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Minimum NFQ Level 6 Certificate / Diploma in Science or Engineering, or sufficient job-related experience.
• Solid problem-solving skills and ability to document processes clearly.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support quality process definition, setup, verification and improvements.
• Complete in-process testing on Product.
• Complete weekly leak & burst testing on product to ensure it is sealed correctly as per the required specification.
• Verification of CPPs & Line Clearance activities.
• Conduct internal process audits to ensure conformance and effectiveness of the Quality System.
• Support audits by demonstrating product testing requirements & best practices.
• Feedback and improvement on Customer 'Supplier Quality Issues'.
