Vickerstock is seeking an experienced Quality Trainer for a six-month contract in County Monaghan. You will lead hands-on training for production operators, elevating quality/technical competencies and embedding robust QA practices on site.

The role requires a proven background in quality/technical management within food manufacturing, with strong auditing knowledge and the ability to coach teams to work independently. A hands-on, independent working style is essential.

• Strong knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP, etc.).
• Experience with internal auditing and supplier approvals.

Vickerstock are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality/Technical professional on behalf of a leading food manufacturing business based in County Monaghan.

This is a hands‑on six-month contract role focused on training and upskilling current production operators, with the aim of developing them into competent Quality Assurance professionals who can carry out their responsibilities independently. The successful candidate will ideally have previous Quality/Technical management or senior‑level experience, with a strong background in training and developing others.

The Role

• Train and upskill current factory floor operators in Quality and Technical procedures
• Provide hands‑on training around company policies and procedures
• Support training in supplier approval processes
• Train operators in internal auditing and related quality duties
• Provide practical guidance and support throughout the six‑month period
• Develop operators' knowledge and confidence to work independently within QA
• Ensure training is delivered effectively and in line with site requirements

About You

• Strong Technical/Quality experience within food manufacturing
• Previous experience in a Quality Management/Technical Management role
• Strong knowledge of food safety and quality systems
• Experience with internal auditing, supplier approval and related quality processes
• Previous experience training, coaching or developing QA/Technical teams
• Strong hands‑on approach to training and development
• Able to work independently and hit the ground running
• Confident working with both factory floor operators and management
