Job Title: Quality, Risk Compliance Coordinator
Location: MQI Head Office, 24 Merchants Quay, Dublin 8 with travel across all MQI Services nationally
Role Purpose: To support the effective operation of the Quality, Risk and Compliance function, with responsibility for coordinating quality assurance, internal auditing, risk and compliance monitoring, and facilities management. The role supports regulatory compliance, continuous improvement and safe, well-managed services and premises.

Main Duties/Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Deputy Head of Quality, Risk Compliance for individual support, regular supervision, and performance appraisal.
Quality, Risk Compliance
- Coordinate quality assurance and compliance monitoring activities.
- Maintain operational risk registers and monitor risk actions.
- Support incident reviews, investigations and corrective actions.
- Coordinate policies, procedures, document control and review schedules.
- Monitor compliance with relevant legislation, standards, funder requirements and organisational policies.
- Maintain compliance records, registers and supporting evidence.
- Support inspections, regulatory reviews and organisational improvement plans.
- Produce QRC reports, dashboards and performance information.
Audit
- Coordinate the annual internal audit programme.
- Schedule and undertake quality, governance, operational, HS, facilities and compliance audits.
- Develop audit tools and review supporting evidence.
- Prepare audit findings and recommendations.
- Maintain audit action/CAPA trackers and follow up outstanding actions.
- Identify recurring themes, control weaknesses and improvement opportunities.
- Support external audits, inspections and assurance reviews.
CAPA (Corrective and Preventative Action)
- Coordinate improvements register across assigned locations.
- Maintain planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing and statutory inspection schedules.
- Monitor fire safety, emergency lighting, electrical, gas, lifts, water hygiene, HVAC and other building compliance requirements.

- Coordinate fire drills and emergency preparedness activities.
- Monitor HS corrective actions and statutory requirements.
- Support accident/incident investigations and trend analysis.
Governance Reporting
- Prepare reports for QRC management and relevant governance committees.
- Monitor KPIs relating to audits, risks, incidents, CAPA, facilities, policies and compliance.
- Escalate significant risks, overdue actions and compliance concerns.
- Liaise with managers, staff, contractors and external stakeholders.
Person Specification
Essential
- Relevant qualification or experience in Quality, Risk, Compliance, Health Safety, Facilities or a related area.
- Experience of auditing, compliance monitoring and action tracking.
- Strong organisational, analytical and report-writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office/Excel.
Desirable
- Experience in healthcare, social care, homelessness or the nonprofit sector.
- Internal Auditor qualification.
- Health Safety qualification.
- Knowledge of HSE/Section 39, NQSF, HSA, GDPR and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Experience of multi-site facilities or contractor management.
