Job summary

Fyffes Balbriggan Ripening Centre in Dublin area is seeking a detail-focused Quality Control Assistant to join the Fyffes Quality team. You will carry out quality inspections on incoming, in-process and finished products, assess conformance to specifications and support documentation of findings.

Fluent English is required. You will work in a 37.5-hour week with early shifts; strong numeracy, basic computer skills (Outlook and Excel) and a disciplined, team-oriented approach are essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality inspections on incoming, in-process and finished products.
• Assess products against Fyffes specifications and quality standards.
• Check product grading, sizing, ripeness, appearance and overall condition.
• Identify defects and non-conformances, escalating as needed.
• Accurately record and report inspection findings.
• Print, inspect and verify product labels.
• Complete routine quality control and health and safety checks.
