Sigmar Recruitment is seeking an experienced QEHS Manager to lead the function across a nationwide portfolio of 15+ construction sites. The role is based in Co. Meath with regular travel to sites across the Greater Dublin Area.

You will manage and develop the QEHS team, ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and Safe-T Cert, review RAMS and subcontractor docs, and drive KPI reporting while working closely with Directors and site teams.

Qualificações

• Senior QEHS experience in construction.
• Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation.
• Experience with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 and Safe-T Cert.
• Leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to travel between sites.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and develop the QEHS team, promoting a strong and proactive safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Safe-T Cert and relevant legislation.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve QEHS policies and systems.
• Conduct investigations into accidents and near-misses with corrective actions.
• Review RAMS, lift plans and subcontractor documentation for compliance.
• Manage QEHS audits and ensure findings are closed out.
• Monitor QEHS KPIs and report trends to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Directors and site teams to balance safety and programme needs.

QEHS Manager

Location: Co. Meath, with travel to sites across the Greater Dublin Area
Salary: €75,000 – €85,000 DOE + Company Car + Bonus + Pension

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced QEHS Manager to lead the function across a nationwide portfolio of 15+ construction sites.

The role will be based in Co. Meath with regular travel to sites across the Greater Dublin area.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the QEHS team, promoting a strong and proactive safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Safe-T Cert and all relevant legislation.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve QEHS policies, procedures and systems.
• Conduct and oversee accident, incident and near-miss investigations, implementing effective corrective actions.
• Review RAMS, lift plans and subcontractor documentation to ensure compliance.
• Manage QEHS audits and ensure findings are addressed and closed out effectively.
• Monitor and report QEHS KPIs, identifying trends.
• Work closely with Directors, Site Teams and subcontractors to maintain high standards while supporting commercial and programme requirements.

Requirements

• Proven Senior QEHS experience within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation and construction requirements.
• Experience with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 and Safe-T Cert.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Experience managing teams and multiple concurrent projects.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
