Sigmar Recruitment seeks an experienced QEHS Manager to lead the function across a nationwide portfolio of 15+ construction sites. The role is based in Co. Meath with regular travel to sites across the Greater Dublin area.

You will develop and implement QEHS policies, manage the QEHS team, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and Safe-T Cert. A driving licence and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

Senior QEHS experience in construction with team leadership.
Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation.
Experience with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 and Safe-T Cert.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the QEHS team and promote a proactive safety culture.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, Safe-T Cert and legislation.
Develop and improve QEHS policies, procedures and systems.
Conduct investigations into accidents and near-misses; implement corrective actions.
Review RAMS, lift plans and subcontractor documentation for compliance.
Manage QEHS audits and address findings to close out.
Monitor QEHS KPIs and identify trends.
Collaborate with Directors, site teams and subcontractors to balance safety with programme needs.

QEHS Manager

Salary: €70,000 – €80,000 DOE + Company Car + Bonus + Pension

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced QEHS Manager to lead the function across a nationwide portfolio of 15+ construction sites.

The role will be based in Co. Meath with regular travel to sites across the Greater Dublin area.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop the QEHS team, promoting a strong and proactive safety culture.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Safe-T Cert and all relevant legislation.
Develop, implement and continuously improve QEHS policies, procedures and systems.
Conduct and oversee accident, incident and near-miss investigations, implementing effective corrective actions.
Review RAMS, lift plans and subcontractor documentation to ensure compliance.
Manage QEHS audits and ensure findings are addressed and closed out effectively.
Monitor and report QEHS KPIs, identifying trends.
Work closely with Directors, Site Teams and subcontractors to maintain high standards while supporting commercial and programme requirements.

Requirements

Proven Senior QEHS experience within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation and construction requirements.
Experience with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 and Safe-T Cert.
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Experience managing teams and multiple concurrent projects.
Full driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
