Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing in a commercial environment.
• 3+ years acting as a QA technical lead or lead role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the QA team of three Quality Engineers, set goals and conduct performance reviews.
• Be in the room during feature spec to challenge and expand acceptance criteria.
• Codify testing patterns and guardrails, ensuring tests are meaningful and traceable.
• Coach team members, focus on reducing manual toil through automation, and promote shift-left quality.
• Maintain hands-on involvement early on and scale back as the pod's quality thinking matures.
