Job summary

Kinsale Insurance is seeking a QA Analyst to partner with product and engineering, shaping testability and automated quality before implementation. You will drive risk-based quality strategy and help mold a high-performing engineering culture.

You will collaborate across teams to translate requirements into testable plans, incorporate non-functional requirements, and mentor peers in testing practices, contributing to reliable software delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Strong analytical skills to translate requirements into test plans and cases.
Experience testing functional, integration, regression, performance, UI, and end-to-end scenarios.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) and QA practices in modern software delivery environments.
Excellent communication and collaborative mindset in fast-paced environments.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools and exposure to APM/logging.

Responsibilities

Identify, own, and solve quality problems independently and with a team.
Design and evolve sustainable test automation for end-to-end coverage.
Translate business outcomes into testable requirements for web apps.
Define coverage, testability, and acceptance criteria before execution.
Incorporate non-functional requirements (performance, security, resilience) into test plans.
Clarify requirements with stakeholders and inform scope and priorities.
Diagnose defects with root-cause analysis and verify fixes.
Mentor others in testing practices and quality strategy.
