Job summary

ICON Clinical Research in Dublin is seeking a Proposals Development Associate II to support Business Development by delivering high quality proposals and budgets for clinical trials in response to RFPs. This hybrid role combines collaboration with internal teams and client-focused work.

You will lead proposal development, coordinate budgets and client grids, chair kick-off and strategy meetings, and ensure timely, accurate submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Science or Business subject is required or equivalent
• Previous professional experience within the CRO, Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industry in a Laboratory environment is preferred
• Ability to evaluate RFPs and identify critical issues and questions and work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Self-starter who can work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent numeracy, communication and organizational skills
• Ability to travel at least 5% of the time (international and domestic)

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and prepare client-focused proposals, budgets and client grids for new business opportunities within given timeframes
• Chair kick-off, budget and strategy meetings and coordinate participation of appropriate personnel
• Liaise with sales, proposals and operations teams to ensure the proposal meets business needs
• Prepare budgets for proposals by coordinating with operational departments and prepare budgets and contract specifications for new awards
