Qualifications

• Degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• 3-6 years' relevant experience within the Irish construction sector.
• Experience in residential construction or property development.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and cost management skills.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement and cost reporting.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, cost plans and cash flow forecasts.
• Oversee procurement, tender analysis and subcontractor appointments.
• Monitor project costs, variations, valuations and final accounts.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage commercial risks.
• Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts for senior management.
• Work closely with project managers, contractors and design teams to ensure projects remain commercially viable.
