Job summary

ProSource Group in Monaghan is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team. The successful candidate will take ownership of projects from inception through to final account and work within a supportive commercial team.

Ideal candidates will have approx. 5 years' experience in the Irish construction industry, strong commercial awareness, and excellent communication and contract administration skills. This is a full-time, permanent role with a strong project pipeline.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 5 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the Irish construction industry.
• Previous residential and/or commercial construction experience would be highly advantageous.
• Strong commercial awareness and contract administration skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational abilities.
• Ability to manage projects independently while working collaboratively within a commercial team.
• Ambitious individual seeking long-term career progression.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial aspects of construction projects from commencement through to final account.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, valuations, and cost reports.
• Procure and manage subcontractor and supplier packages.
• Monitor project costs and maintain accurate financial forecasting.
• Prepare and assess variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
• Provide regular commercial reporting to senior management.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with around 5 years' experience to take ownership of projects from inception through to final account while working within a supportive commercial team. Candidates with previous residential or commercial project experience will be particularly well suited to the role, although those with a strong main contractor background across other sectors are also encouraged to apply.
