Job summary

SSA Consulting Group in South Dublin seeks a Project Planner / Resource Co-ordinator to join its M&E contracting division. You will develop detailed schedules, create WBS, monitor baselines, and track man-hours to ensure timely delivery on budget across multiple projects.

The role requires 3–5 years in project planning or PMO, strong resource planning skills, and proficiency with MS Project and Primavera P6, plusExcellent communication and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related field.
  • 3–5 years' experience in project planning, coordination, resource planning or PMO environments.
  • Strong understanding of resource loading and workforce planning.
  • Experience tracking man-hours and labour forecasting.
  • Experience using project management and planning software.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using planning software.
  • Create work breakdown structures (WBS), project timelines and key milestones.
  • Monitor project progress against baseline schedules.
  • Track planned versus actual man-hours and report on variances.
  • Develop resource plans and support workforce planning across projects.
  • Monitor resource utilisation, capacity and labour requirements.
  • Provide regular project progress, resource and capacity reports.
  • Identify potential scheduling and resource issues and elevate risks accordingly.
  • Support Project Managers with planning and coordination activities.
  • Assist in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Maintain accurate planning and resource documentation.
  • Work closely with Business Unit Managers and project teams to ensure effective resource allocation.

SSA are currently looking for a Project Planner / Resource Co-ordinator for a leading M&E Contractor based in South Dublin.

An established Irish mechanical and electrical engineering contractor, operating nationwide across Ireland. Established in 1968, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality engineering services across the data centre, pharmaceutical, medical, commercial and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities
