Job summary

Designer Group, a leading international M&E provider, seeks a Planner Graduate to join its Project Controls and Planning team in Ireland. You will develop practical experience in planning and programme management across major M&E projects.

You will learn to develop, monitor and update programmes, track progress and identify delays and risks while collaborating with construction, engineering and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in construction/planning related field.
• Demonstrates strong analytical and organisational abilities.
• Excellent MS Office and Excel skills expected.
• Knowledge of project planning concepts is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and maintenance of project programmes.
• Support project teams with progress updates and reporting.

The Role

As a Planner Graduate, you will join our Project Controls and Planning team and develop practical experience in project planning and programme management across major M&E projects.

Working alongside experienced Planners and project teams, you will learn how to develop, monitor and update project programmes, track progress and identify potential delays and risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the development and maintenance of project programmes.


• Support project teams with progress updates and reporting.


• Assist with tracking project milestones and key activities.


• Support programme updates and schedule analysis.


• Help identify programme risks, delays and dependencies.


• Assist with progress reporting and project dashboards.


• Maintain accurate planning documentation.


• Work with construction, engineering, commercial and project teams.


• Develop an understanding of project controls and planning methodologies.

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.


• Strong analytical and organisational skills.


• Good numerical ability and attention to detail.


• Good Microsoft Office and Excel skills.


• Knowledge of Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is advantageous.
