Job summary

Elk Recruitment is seeking a Project Manager for a Wicklow-based role focused on Windows and Doors. The position is office-based with a permanent, full-time contract and negotiable salary depending on experience.

You will manage multiple construction projects, ensuring alignment with stakeholder objectives while controlling costs and deadlines. Experience in window/door projects is preferred; broader engineering or construction management credentials are valued.

Qualifications

• Recognized program management qualification.
• 5 years construction or Project Manager’s experience.
• Qualification or Experience in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Ideally have door and window experience.
• Experience with estimating/project management/managing specialty scopes of construction.

Responsibilities

• Managing all assigned projects to ensure alignment with stakeholder objectives.
• Maintain a commercially focused approach to meet budget, scope and timelines.
• Use established practices, templates, policies, and tools across the project lifecycle.
• Prepare project submittals such as door schedules and ironmongery specifications.
• Participate in project management meetings and keep information up to date.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate information.

• Managing all assigned projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to the stakeholder’s objectives.
• Maintaining a commercially focused mindset to ensure that project objectives are met within budget, identifying opportunities to optimize costs and deliver value without compromising quality or project timelines.
• Using established practices, templates, policies, tools and relationships throughout the life-cycle of the project.
• Preparing project submittals as required including door schedules, ironmongery specifications, site reports.
• Participating in project management team meetings and ensure project information is kept up to date regularly.
• Co-ordinating and liaising with stakeholders to ensure that all have timely and accurate information.
