Elk Recruitment is seeking a driven Senior Architectural Technologist/Project Manager to join our client’s expanding team in Dublin. The role focuses on delivering complex architectural projects from design development through construction while maintaining quality, budget, and schedule.

You will lead design teams, coordinate with clients and authorities, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• A Degree in Architectural Technology is essential.
• Proficiency in Revit or ArchiCAD is required.
• Strong experience managing architectural projects across design to completion.
• Excellent knowledge of Irish/UK building regulations.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural projects from design development through tender, construction and completion.
• Coordinate preparation of technical drawings, specs, schedules, tender docs and construction packages.
• Ensure compliance with Irish planning and building regulations and BC(A)R requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors throughout the project.
• Lead design team and site meetings, review construction information and RFIs.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to BIM/Revit quality standards.

At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Senior Architectural Technologist/Project Manager to join our client’s growing team based in Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist/Project Manager to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management & Delivery
  Lead and manage architectural projects from design development through tender, construction and completion, ensuring projects are delivered to agreed programmes, budgets and quality standards.
• Technical Design & Documentation
  Lead the preparation and coordination of high-quality technical drawings, specifications, schedules, tender documentation and construction packages, with a strong focus on buildability and technical accuracy.
• Statutory & Regulatory Compliance
  Ensure projects comply with current Irish Planning and Building Regulations, BC(A)R requirements, Fire Safety and Disability Access requirements, and other relevant statutory standards and approvals.
• Design Team & Stakeholder Coordination
  Coordinate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, specialist consultants, contractors, local authorities and other project stakeholders, managing information flow and resolving technical and design issues throughout the project.
• Construction Stage & Site Management
  Attend and lead design team and site meetings, carry out site inspections, respond to technical queries and RFIs, review construction information and monitorworksto ensure compliance with the design intent, specifications and required quality standards.
• Team Leadership & Quality Management
  Manage project resources and workloads, provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members, review project outputs and contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM/Revit standards, technical procedures and quality assurance within the practice.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Educated toDegree level in Architectural Technology (essential)
• High level of proficiency in RevitorArchicad.
• Ideallyminimum 10years+ experience across a variety of project types.
• Strong technical understanding and detailing skills.
• A good understanding and experience working with current Irish or UK building regulations
• Highly motivated individual with good communication and organisational skills
• This opportunity is open to qualified Architectural Technologists holding full eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Must hold a valid clean Driver’s Licence
