Job summary

Astatine Ltd is seeking an EPC Project Planning & Controls Intern to join our on-site team in Dublin. You will learn to build and update project plans, assist with Work Breakdown Structures, and support weekly/monthly progress updates alongside experienced project professionals.

You will gain hands-on exposure to Primavera P6, data reporting, and KPI generation while developing planning and reporting skills in a high-energy renewable projects environment.

Qualifications

• Student or recent graduate in engineering, construction, project management, data analytics, business or similar discipline.
• A clear communicator who is happy to work with different project team members.
• Exposure to live renewable energy projects and experienced project teams.
• Experience creating project plans, progress curves, and performance reports.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to build and update project plans using Primavera P6.
• Help organise project activities into clear Work Breakdown Structures.

• Turn project information into easy-to-understand S-curves, resource charts, and KPI reports.
• Work with project Health Snapshots to help monitor progress and performance.
• Help improve and standardise the way project information is captured and reported.

• Contract Type: Full-time, Jan – August
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, onsite project-based role

Position Overview

Are you interested in how large renewable energy projects are planned, tracked, and delivered? This internship is an opportunity to join Astatine’s EPC team and gain practical experience in project planning and reporting. You will work alongside experienced project professionals, receive training in Primavera P6 and help turn project information into clear plans, charts, and performance updates.

You do not need to be a planning expert. We are looking for someone who is curious, organised, comfortable with data and keen to learn.

Key Responsibilities

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

• Someone comfortable using Excel and interested in learning new digital tools.
• A clear communicator who is happy to work with different project team members.
• Someone with an interest in renewable energy, infrastructure, or construction projects.
• Training and practical support in Primavera P6 and project controls.
• Exposure to live renewable energy projects and experienced project teams.
• Experience creating project plans, progress curves, and performance reports.
• An understanding of how a PMO supports successful project delivery.
