Job summary

Design Build Search is working with a developer in Dublin seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee residential projects from concept to completion. Current projects include residential schemes of 70 and 80 units and apartments. Irish and developer experience is required. Strong problem solving, contract reading, and communication skills are essential.

The role involves delivering projects safely, on time, and coordinating subcontractors, scheduling, procurement, and reporting to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in construction management including project management.
• Experience on residential schemes is preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to read and create contractual requirements and reports.

Responsibilities

• Ensure highest H&S, Quality and Environmental standards are met on site.
• Delivering projects safely and on time to project expectations.
• Procurement of subcontractors & suppliers.
• Programming and scheduling works.
• Overseeing & organising the various project work streams to ensure a successful project delivery.
• Issuing contractual notices variations, delay & extensions of time.
• Chair progress meetings & effectively report on same.

Due to a strong pipeline of projects across Dublin, they have an opportunity for Senior Project Manager. The successful applicant will oversee projects from concept to completion. Current projects are a mix of residential schemes (70 & 80 units) and apartments. To be considered you must have previous Irish and developer experience. Sectors: residential Requirements: Bachelors degree in engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline or an equivalent technical degree is preferred. A minimum of 8 years of experience in Construction Management including previous project management experience Previous experience on residential schemes Self-motivated with strong problem solving and decision-making skills. Ability to read, understand and create contractual requirements, scope objectives and report effectively. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel. Responsibilities include: Ensuring that the highest levels of H&S, Quality and Environmental standards are met on site.
