Candidate should have extensive experience in roofing and cladding, strong technical knowledge, and a proven ability to manage budgets and programmes. A full driving licence is essential for site visits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in managing roofing and cladding projects.
• Qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong knowledge of roofing, cladding and façade systems.
• Experience managing subcontractors, programmes and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage roofing and cladding projects from planning through to completion.
• Develop and maintain project programmes with Contracts Manager and site teams.
• Provide technical guidance on roofing, cladding and façade works.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and materials.
• Ensure works are safe and in line with procedures.
• Monitor progress, quality, budgets and deadlines.
• Manage project costs and variations.
• Work with commercial team to meet targets.

About the Role

Pivotal Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established roofing and cladding contractor based in Cork.

Our client specialises in roofing, cladding, glazing, windows and doors, working across both new-build and refurbishment projects. They have built a strong reputation in the industry and have recently secured major contracts with leading pharmaceutical companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage roofing and cladding projects from planning through to completion.
• Develop and maintain project programmes alongside the Contracts Manager and site teams.
• Provide technical guidance on roofing, cladding and façade works.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and materials.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely and in line with company procedures.
• Monitor project progress, quality, budgets and deadlines.
• Manage project costs, variations and subcontractor packages.
• Work closely with the commercial team to meet project targets.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors, providing regular project updates.
• Identify and resolve any issues that may impact project delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years' experience managing roofing and cladding projects.
• Qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of roofing, cladding and façade systems.
• Experience managing subcontractors, programmes and project budgets.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and project planning software such as MS Project.
• Experience on pharmaceutical, industrial or commercial projects would be an advantage.
• Full driving licence.
