Electricity Supply Board seeks a Capital Projects Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering building-related capital works across ESB offices and depots. The role covers concept through handover, ensuring compliance with planning and safety requirements.

Facilities Management (FM) manage and maintain in excess of 90 properties in the ESB Property portfolio, to over 9000 staff. FM have responsibility for the delivery of a wide range of building related projects to ensure that the ESB Group can deliver its business in well maintained safe & sustainable workplaceenvironments. Within FM, the Capital Projects team is responsible for the delivery of the capital works programme across ESB through a multi-disciplinary professional team consisting of internal and external resources typically make up the delivery teams.
The role of the Capital Projects Project Manager is to work as part of the Capital Projects team in the role of designer and project manager in multidisciplinary teams delivering projects to ESB group.
The projects are typically construction projects on existing premises and vary from internal fitout with services upgrades to fabric (roof, windows, wall cladding, thermal) upgrades to whole building upgrades. A key factor in working with existing buildings is familiarity with building regulations and their applicability to existing circumstances.
The candidate will ideally have experience as an Architect / Architectural Technologist and is interested in developing their project management skills.
This position will be based in ESB's Head Office at Fitzwilliam 27, Dublin 2. However, travel will be required as part of the role.

The successful candidate may work flexibly within the jurisdiction where they have been employed, with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration at least two days per week. All Smart Working arrangements are subject to regular review based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the business.
