Our client, a well-established, family-owned Irish retail and manufacturing group, has an ambitious 2030 strategy with major growth, cost-saving and transformation projects planned across the business.
They're looking for two commercially minded, highly organised Project Managers to join their new Programme Management Office. You'll help turn strategy into measurable results, working closely with the Head of Growth Strategy, department heads, the CEO and the Board to bring structure, momentum and accountability to key projects from planning through to delivery.
The role is based at head office five days a week, with some domestic travel to other sites. All travel is fully expensed.
Managing strategic projects from planning through to implementationWorking with department heads and project owners to set clear plans, timelines, responsibilities and deliverablesTracking progress and flagging risks, dependencies, resourcing issues and roadblocks earlyMeasuring the commercial impact of projects, including revenue growth, cost savings and efficiency gainsPreparing clear, concise progress reports for senior management and the BoardSupporting project and strategy review meetings and making sure actions are followed throughChallenging existing ways of working and finding ways to improve processes and deliveryHelping build consistent project management tools, reporting and governance across the group
Essential:
Proven project management experience, ideally 2 to 5 yearsStrong commercial awareness and an understanding of how projects affect revenue, costs and profitabilityExperience managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholdersStrong organisational skills and the ability to bring structure to complex workConfidence with data, spreadsheets and reporting toolsExcellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders and challenge constructively
A project management qualification such as PMP or PRINCE2Retail experienceExperience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics or business transformationProven track record managing multiple client projects at once
You're organised, commercially minded and practical. You're comfortable with ambiguity, happy to ask questions, and able to influence people at all levels without needing direct authority. You're persistent, focused on getting things done, and able to turn complex information into clear, actionable updates.
