Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major school project in Drogheda, Co. Louth.

The role requires senior oversight across design, procurement, construction, and handover, with a focus on delivering on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years managing large building projects in Ireland or the UK and at least 7 years with a main contractor, plus strong coordination with design teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in a relevant field.
• 5+ years experience as a Project Manager on large building projects in Ireland or the UK.
• Minimum 7 years of experience with a main contractor in Ireland or the UK.

• Full accountability for project delivery from start to finish.
• Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including specification development, procurement, design, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Coordinate with the design team, subcontractors, utility providers, adjoining property owners, and local authorities to ensure seamless project progress.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams such as commercial, finance, and technical departments to meet project milestones and financial targets.
• Oversee the full snagging, de-snagging, and lock-up protocols are completed for all internal fit-out works through to final build completion.
