Job summary

ProSource Group is hiring a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to take full ownership of a portfolio of live offshore wind projects in Ireland. You will lead projects from planning and mobilisation through offshore delivery and final handover, acting as the main client contact and coordinating engineering, operations, procurement and finance to keep schedules, budgets and risks under control.

• Plan and coordinate people, equipment, vessels and ports around weather and logistics.
• Own project finances, contract obligations and variations.
• Collaborate with HSQE to maintain safety and quality standards.
• Help improve how the business plans and delivers projects.

The opportunity

Our client is a fast growing data and technology business supporting offshore wind developments around the world. It provides the data, analytics and consultancy that developers rely on to make confident decisions about their projects, backed by its own survey vessels and a team of scientists and engineers.

They are now hiring a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to take full ownership of a portfolio of live projects. You will be trusted to run your projects without close management.

About the Role

You will lead multiple projects through every stage, from planning and mobilisation to offshore delivery and final handover. You will be the main point of contact for clients, keeping them informed and building the kind of trust that brings repeat work. Internally, you will coordinate engineering, operations, procurement and finance, and keep schedules, budgets and risks under control.

• Manage projects start to finish against scope, programme, budget and quality
• Be the day to day contact for clients, with clear and proactive reporting
• Delegate effectively to project engineers and coach them as they develop
• Plan and coordinate people, equipment, vessels and ports around weather and logistics
• Own project finances, contract obligations and variations
• Work closely with HSQE to keep safety and quality standards high
• Help improve how the business plans and delivers projects

About You

• Proven experience delivering technical or engineering projects from start to finish
• A background in offshore or the wider energy sector, ideally working with developers
• Confident managing clients and stakeholders at a senior level
• Comfortable running things independently and delegating to engineers
• Strong planning and resource coordination skills
• Able to take accountability and stay calm under pressure
• Willing to travel, including to ports and offshore
• Degree in engineering, project management or a related field; PMP or PRINCE2 is a bonus
