Job summary

STRIVE Search is assisting a leading Irish precast concrete manufacturer in recruiting an experienced Project Manager to own projects from initial design through to production, delivery and installation on site.

Applicants with a construction or civil engineering background and 5+ years in project management are preferred. The role offers a permanent position and exposure to precast, civil and construction projects, with strong progression opportunities and a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in a Project Management, Site Management, Engineering or construction delivery role.
  • Construction or civil engineering background.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and project delivery.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from initial enquiry and design coordination through to manufacture, delivery and installation.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with design, engineering, production, transport and installation teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
  • Develop and manage project programmes, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are achieved.
  • Coordinate technical drawings, specifications and design information with relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, costs, quality and programme.
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers and installation teams where required.
  • Attend site meetings and coordinate installation activities.
  • Identify and resolve technical, programme and logistical issues throughout the project.
  • Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with project specifications and relevant standards.
  • Manage client expectations and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Coordinate deliveries and ensure materials arrive on site in line with the project programme.
  • Monitor project risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Ensure all necessary project documentation is maintained.
  • Work closely with the commercial team on variations, costs and project changes.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across project delivery and construction methods.

Project Manager – Precast Concrete | €70K-€75K + Company Vehicle
Background

A leading Irish precast concrete manufacturer is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of projects from initial design and client coordination through to production, delivery and successful installation on site.

They are open to experienced Senior Engineers as well.

Key Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in a Project Management, Site Management, Engineering or construction delivery role.
  • Construction or civil engineering background.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and project delivery.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing project requirements.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
  • Full Irish/EU driving licence.
  • Experience within precast concrete, structural concrete, civil engineering or offsite construction would be advantageous.
