Job description

Navio Ltd currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing key projects, and overseeing all aspects of project execution, including planning, budgeting, resource management, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones. The Project Manager will act as the central point of contact between various departments, ensuring cross‑functional collaboration and seamless project integration.

Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with the Site Manager to align project goals with company objectives.
  • Manage project scope, change requests, and ensure all project requirements are met.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the Site Manager and key stakeholders.
Budget and Resource Management
  • Develop and maintain the project budget, ensuring cost‑effectiveness and efficient use of resources.
  • Identify and allocate appropriate resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) to ensure timely project completion.
  • Coordinate with department leads to secure technical, operational, and engineering resources as required.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Lead regular project meetings, including Tier Communication sessions, to discuss progress, challenges, and next steps.
  • Facilitate effective communication between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned with project objectives.
Risk and Issue Management
  • Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Manage issues as they arise, ensuring prompt resolution to minimize project delays.
  • Escalate critical risks to the Site Manager and recommend solutions.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet Navio's quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
Reporting and Documentation
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports to the Site Manager, highlighting key metrics, milestones, and risks.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and communication logs.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide coaching and support to junior team members to enhance performance and professional growth.
  • Has a 'can-do' attitude.
QEHS Management System Responsibilities
  • Comply with Navio's Quality, Environment and Health & Safety Management System requirements i.e. perform your work according to your process documents, procedures and maintaining document information/completing department forms/records as required.
  • Understand and apply our QEHS policy statements in all aspects of your work.
  • Contribute towards achieving Navio's QEHS objectives.
  • Ensure that the needs and requirements of Navio's internal staff and customers are understood and delivered.
  • Help develop and improve Navio's internal processes and management system by reporting corrective actions, updates and improvement ideas.

  • Proven experience in managing projects, including scope, time, cost, and resource management.
  • Experience with risk management and quality assurance in a construction, or engineering environment.
