Job summary

Spencer Marshall is assisting a global leader in delivering integrated Workplace Management and FM services. The Project Manager will lead construction and engineering projects across Ireland and the UK, guiding them from design through construction and handover while aligning with client goals and operational needs.

You will interact with client representatives, internal teams, and senior stakeholders to ensure project performance, compliance, and value delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum project management experience within engineering/construction.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and building services.
• Knowledge of industry codes/regs and design disciplines.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules and client expectations.

The Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of Construction and Engineering projects across Ireland and the UK on behalf of the client. The role involves managing full project lifecycle—from design through to construction and implementation—while ensuring alignment with client goals and operational requirements. The Project Manager brings deep expertise in MEP systems, applies best-practice project management methodologies, and collaborates closely with internal teams, client representatives, and senior stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide professional project management experience to designated projects and assignments at a client site, campus, and facilities.
• Interacts with client representatives onsite, receives direction and coordinates with the property or facility management team.
• Monitors and coordinates the execution of the various services and processes relating to client contracted agreements for project management and tenant improvements.
• Prepare agendas, develop and maintain master project budgets and timelines as required for each project and project phase to ensure overall project objectives and client needs are met.
• Prepare and coordinate project reports and drawing reviews for clients, property/facility management team, and project team (as applicable) at conceptual, schematic, design development and construction phases of project
• Assist in the selection, contracting process and oversight of consultants and construction teams as necessary for each project
• Review requisitions, change orders and other invoices associated with the project and confer with client and property management on costs and impacts
• Support the marketing of services to clients as requested
• Adhere to corporate, building, and client policies and procedures
• Cooperate with other building/facility personnel to achieve goals and objectives as to quality, service, cost and profit
• Advise and obtain the necessary approvals from the appropriate members of management of potential organizational changes, actions that might require additional commitments, and the need for expenditures in excess of approved budget
• Adhere to government laws and regulations and established rulings of government authorities, including building codes, safety regulations
• Maintain high qualitative and quantitative standards of work performance
• Strive constantly to improve skill and work knowledge; keep up to date in the field of specialization

Qualifications / Requirements

• Ideally a degree in architecture, Engineering, or Construction
• Related experience in an engineering/construction project accountability role
• Experience with managing technical infrastructure with respect to MEP systems preferred or any similar combination of education and experience
• Certification in PE, AIA, LEED, CMAA, PMP, PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma & MCIOB, preferred
• Solid understanding of the construction industry, terminology, codes/regs, documentation, and design disciplines
