Job summary

LSC, Life Science Consultants in Cork, Ireland, has a contract opportunity for a Project Engineer to support early-stage drug-product programs in a rapidly growing biopharmaceutical company.

The role seeks candidates with 2+ years in pharma/biotech and experience delivering change controls within a GxP environment. You will coordinate with external manufacturers and manage ERP transactions for external manufacturing and inventory traceability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, life sciences or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in drug-product development, manufacturing, quality or external manufacturing.
• Practical experience delivering change controls and supporting deviation resolution in a GxP environment.
• Experience coordinating drug substance, excipients or primary packaging materials with a CDMO.
• Experience completing ERP transactions supporting external manufacturing and inventory traceability.
• Ability to deliver cross-functional project outcomes through defined milestones and documented acceptance criteria.

ABOUT THE PROJECT - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The purpose of this engagement is to deliver defined operational and manufacturing-readiness work packages for the early-stage drug-product programs identified in the Statement of Work. The project will enable the in-scope programs to progress through development manufacturing, GMP manufacturing and associated clinical-supply milestones.

The supplier will provide a project engineer with relevant drug-product, quality-system and external-manufacturing experience to deliver the specified project outcomes during the agreed assignment period.
