Job summary

LSC is seeking a Downstream Bioprocess Associate for a 24/7 shift at a Dublin-based biopharmaceutical company. The role supports manufacturing operations, project design, CQV, and QA activities to enable production and validation of the MPCC facility.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3+ years of experience in a regulated biopharma or biotech environment and a Level 6 qualification in Engineering or Science. Experience with DeltaV and MES is advantageous.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have a minimum Level 6 qualification in an Engineering or Science discipline.
• 1–3+ years of experience in a large-scale biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with manufacturing operations, project design, CQV and Automation/CSV teams to implement project designs and validate MPCC manufacturing facility.
• Create operating procedures and other documentation for large-scale manufacturing.
• Execute manufacturing processes in accordance with work instructions.
• Participate in investigations and process optimisations using scientific, engineering and lean principles.
• Operate production equipment within the assigned area and support QA-related reviews and audits.

ABOUT THE PROJECT - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working with the manufacturing operations group, project design team, the CQV team, & the Automation/CSV reps to facilitate the implementation of the project design and validation of the MPCC manufacturing facility.
• Creation of operating procedures & other relevant documentation for large scale manufacturing.
• Execution of commercial manufacturing processes according to established work instructions.
• Takes part in investigations and optimisations of processes using scientific, engineering and lean principles.
• Operates all production equipment within the assigned functional area.
• Assists with reviewing batch and exception reports for each manufacturing lot in conjunction with Quality representative and provide input to related investigations and QA audit activities.

ABOUT YOU - ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?

• The successful candidate will ideally possess a minimum of Level 6 qualification in an Engineering/Science related discipline; however, relevant experience in a similar regulated industry will also be considered (e.g. cGMP, ISO or similar cleanroom industry experience strongly preferred).
• Ideally possess 1-3+ years' working experience in a large-scale biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
• Experience with Delta V and MES would be considered an advantage.
