Job summary

EirEng Consulting Engineers in Dublin is seeking a Project Civil Engineer with a minimum of four years’ consultancy experience. You will lead civil design across logistics, residential, retail and commercial sectors, coordinating with technicians and external teams to deliver accurate reports and drawings.

The role offers a hybrid work pattern with 60% in-office collaboration and up to 40% remote work, starting Autumn/Winter 2026, and a strong pathway toward Chartered Engineer status within

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of consultancy experience in civil engineering.
• Active progression towards Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland or ICE.
• Based in Dublin with potential collaboration across offices in Dublin and Bath.
• Experience across logistics, residential, retail and commercial civil design.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil engineering designs including foul water, surface water, levels strategies, 3D earthworks and external areas.
• Prepare reports and specifications for projects.
• Work closely with technicians to prepare drawings and deliverables.
• Liaise with internal and external project team members and coordinate activities.
• Carry out site visits and surveys; attend meetings and represent EirEng externally.
• Assist with project management tasks as required.

Opportunity to join our dynamic and friendly team of engineers and technicians as a Project Civil Engineer, based in the Dublin office. You’ll have at least 4 years’ consultancy experience and actively working towards Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland and or ICE. In this position you can expect to work alongside colleagues in both our Dublin and Bath offices on all stages of the civil design of projects in logistics, residential, retail, and commercial sectors at a wide range of scales. This will include:

• Developing civil engineering designs including Foul, Surface Water, Levels Strategies, 3D Earthworks analysis and external area designs.
