Job summary

EirEng Consulting Engineers Ltd in Dublin is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our growing team. You’ll work on structural design across logistics, residential, retail and commercial projects, with colleagues in both our Dublin and Bath offices and the chance to contribute from day one.

Candidates should have at least 2 years’ consultancy experience and be actively working toward Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland, The IStructE or ICE.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of consultancy experience.
• Active progression toward Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland, The IStructE or ICE.

Responsibilities

• Developing structural engineering designs including undertaking structural analysis, preparing calculations and sketches.
• Preparing reports and specifications.
• Working closely with technicians to prepare drawings and other project deliverables
• Checking and reviewing of engineering designs and deliverables
• Liaising, collaborating and coordinating with internal and external project team members.
• Attending meetings and representing EirEng externally
• Assisting with project management
