Job summary

CS Consulting is expanding its Limerick office and seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to lead delivery of civil projects across Ireland. You will manage road, drainage, water services and traffic engineering work, build strong client relationships, and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities include guiding projects from feasibility to construction, coordinating design teams, and ensuring compliance with Irish standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a Civil Engineering degree at Level 8 or higher.
• Minimum five years' relevant experience in an Irish engineering consultancy.
• Broad civil engineering experience including roads, drainage and utilities.
• Experience delivering projects from planning through construction.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng/MIEI) or working towards Chartership is desirable.

Your mission

CS Consulting is expanding our Limerick office and we're looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead the delivery of civil engineering projects across Ireland. This is an opportunity for a well-rounded civil engineer with broad experience across roads, drainage, water services/utilities (including foul) and traffic engineering, who enjoys leading projects, building strong client relationships and mentoring others. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you'll take ownership of projects from concept through construction, delivering practical infrastructure solutions across residential, commercial, public sector and infrastructure developments while helping shape the continued growth of our Limerick office.

• Public sector housing schemes for Local Authorities and the Land Development Agency (LDA)

Your profile

• Lead projects from feasibility and planning through detailed design and construction.

• Lead project meetings and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Civil Engineering (Level 8 or higher).
• Minimum five years' relevant experience, including experience within an Irish engineering consultancy.
• Broad civil engineering experience across roads, drainage, water services/utilities (foul) and traffic engineering.
• Experience delivering projects from planning through construction.
• Strong project leadership, coordination and client-facing experience.
• Good knowledge of Irish design standards, including Uisce Éireann, TII and DMURS.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full driving licence.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng MIEI) or working towards Chartership (desirable)
• Experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD and InfoDrainage (or equivalent) (desirable)
