Job summary

EirEng Consulting Engineers is seeking a Structural Engineer for our Dublin office. You will work on structural design across logistics, residential, retail and commercial projects in our Dublin and Bath offices.

You will have at least 2 years of consultancy experience and be actively pursuing Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland, the IStructE or ICE. The role offers collaboration with colleagues in both offices and a mix of site and office work.

Qualifications

• Actively working towards Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland, the IStructE or ICE.

Responsibilities

• Developing structural engineering designs including undertaking structural analysis, preparing calculations and sketches.
• Preparing reports and specifications.
• Working closely with technicians to prepare drawings and other project deliverables
• Checking and reviewing engineering designs and deliverables
• Liaising, collaborating and coordinating with internal and external project team members.
• Attending meetings and representing EirEng externally
• Assisting with project management

Opportunity to join our dynamic and friendly team of engineers and technicians as a Structural Engineer, based in the Dublin office. You’ll have at least 2 years’ consultancy experience and actively working towards Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland, the IStructE or ICE. In this position you can expect to work alongside colleagues in both our Dublin and Bath offices on all stages of the structural design of projects in logistics, residential, retail, and commercial sectors at a wide range of scales. This will include:
