Job summary

Barden | B Corp is seeking an experienced Project Accountant in Wicklow on a 9-month contract, with a focus on systems, process improvement and strong financial controls. The role offers hybrid working and close collaboration with the CFO to drive group finance initiatives across processes and governance.

You will lead finance systems implementation, design processes, test and support users, and develop policies and SOPs.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification required.
• 2–6 years PQE in finance.
• Experience in finance systems implementation and process improvement.
• Strong understanding of financial controls and accounting processes.
• Exposure to VAT/indirect tax across jurisdictions.
• Excellent Excel skills and ERP familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Review and optimize finance processes to improve efficiency and controls.
• Lead the implementation and design of finance systems; test and support users.
• Develop and implement finance policies, SOPs and governance frameworks.
• Support VAT and indirect tax projects and compliance obligations.
• Collaborate with finance and non-finance stakeholders to drive change.
