Job summary

Natus Medical Incorporated in Gort, Galway, Ireland is seeking a Production Technician to assemble, configure, and test medical diagnostic devices. You will work with engineering and manufacturing teams to follow production schedules, maintain quality records, support process improvements, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements in a permanent, day-shift role.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years' experience in manufacturing or production.
  • Experience assembling or testing medical devices or technical products.
  • Strong mechanical assembly with wiring, soldering, or hand assembly.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, configure, and test medical diagnostic devices and systems.
  • Process materials and work orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Follow production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet delivery targets.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams on process improvements and new product introductions.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Production Technician

Location: Gort, Co. Galway
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Day Shift

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
  • Friday: 7:00am – 12:00pm

Are you an experienced manufacturing professional with strong assembly and technical skills? Join our growing team in Gort, Galway, where you'll play a key role in building high-quality medical diagnostic systems used by healthcare professionals around the world.

As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly, configuration, and testing of advanced medical devices, helping to ensure products meet the highest quality and regulatory standards before reaching customers.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Assemble, configure, and test medical diagnostic devices and systems
  • Process materials and work orders accurately and efficiently
  • Follow production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet delivery targets
  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
  • Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams on process improvements and new product introductions
  • Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement activities
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
What We're Looking For
  • 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or production environment
  • Experience building, configuring, or testing technical products or medical devices
  • Strong mechanical assembly skills, including wiring, soldering, or hand assembly experience
  • Good working knowledge of quality systems and manufacturing standards (GMP/GDP desirable)
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or JDE is advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Occasional flexibility to support business requirements during month-end or quarter-end activities may be required.
