What you need to know

Our client, a leading Food Manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Production Team Lead to join the Management Team at its Waterford site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and co-ordinate all maintenance activities across the plant, including preventative and predictive maintenance programmes.
• Drive equipment performance, uptime and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead maintenance projects and support capital investment activities.
• Develop and mentor the engineering and maintenance team.
• Drive maintenance excellence and operational performance across the site.

Requirements:

• Experienced Maintenance professional with strong supervisory experience in a similar role within Food, FMCG or a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems, reliability engineering and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Third level qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing or a relevant Trade qualification.
• Proven leadership and team management experience, with a passion for driving maintenance excellence and operational performance.
• Candidates may come from an experienced trades background in manufacturing/food.
