Job summary

CareerWise Recruitment is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to manage the evening shift, acting as the primary contact for production, quality, H&S and facilities. You will supervise staff to ensure efficient workflow and communicate schedule priorities to management.

The role emphasizes people management, disciplinary and performance reviews, and a strong focus on continuous improvement, with knowledge of electronics or cable assembly considered highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years' production supervisory experience.
• Proven ability to lead and manage people effectively.
• Ability to hold disciplinary and performance review meetings.
• Knowledge of electronics or cable assembly is highly desirable.
• Excellent communicator at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the evening shift as primary contact for production, quality, H&S and facilities.
• Supervise staff to produce manufactured products and organize workflow.
• Keep management informed of schedule status, priorities and problems.
• Address employee queries through company policies and procedures.
• Ensure a high performing and engaged production team.
• Ensure training is completed and maintain training records; support cross-training across production areas to build team flexibility and coverage.
• Develops direct reports by providing training, regularly assessing performance and giving feedback including disciplinary actions as appropriate.

Job description

* Take ownership of the evening shift, acting as the primary point of contact for all production, quality, H&S, and facility matters during that period; manage day-to-day scheduling and coordination of work within the team.

* Supervises staff to produce manufactured products and organizes and monitors workflow.

* Keeps management and support functions informed of schedule status, priorities, and

problems.

* Addresses employee and people related issues and queries through agreed company policies

and procedures.

* Ensure a high performing and engaged production team.

* Ensure that each team member has completed the relevant training and maintain accurate

training records; actively support cross-training across production areas to build team

flexibility and skills coverage.

* Develops direct reports by ensuring training is provided, regularly assessing performance and providing verbal and written feedback including disciplinary action as appropriate and

REQUIREMENTS
