Job summary

Hilton Food Group in Drogheda is seeking a Production Operative on a fixed-term contract of 3 months. You will join our on-site team across rotating days and night shifts with a starting pay of 14.15 EUR per hour plus shift allowances.

The role involves packing meat trays to Tesco requirements, assisting with line changeovers, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. We value reliable, detail-oriented team players with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Pack Meat into trays ensuring position of meat aligns with Tesco requirements.
• Be vigilant for any foreign bodies or defects in product and packs.
• Assist in line changeovers as instructed by Line Supervisor.
• Clean as you go to maintain hygiene standards.
• Check gas volume, presentation, seal integrity and label position.
• Place required number of packs in crates.
• Pass full crates to the OCM station when ready.
• Highlight incomplete cases at end of batch to the OCM operator.

Role:Production Operative
Type:Fixed term contract, 3 months
Location:Drogheda, On site
Variousshifts available:
Dayshift – 7am-7:30pm (two shifts that rotate every 4 weeks)
ShiftA: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
ShiftB: Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Nightshift– 7:30pm-4am Monday-Friday
Payrate: 14.15 euro per hour + shift allowance (3.14% for dayshift and 26.5% for nightshift)
