Looking for a permanent, hands-on role with great career potential?
We are recruiting Production Associates on behalf of a leading manufacturer in Castlebar, producing high-quality stainless-steel wire used in life-improving medical devices.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work, has an interest in machinery or how things work, and would like to develop technical skills in a growing industry.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Production Associate, you’ll receive training to work with specialist production equipment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Setting up and operating manufacturing machinery
• Making adjustments to machinery using measurements and calculations
• Monitoring the manufacturing process
• Carrying out quality checks on materials during production
• Identifying and troubleshooting minor machine or process issues
• Completing production and quality documentation
• Following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality procedures

Shift Pattern
This position works a 4-on, 4-off continental shift pattern:

• 2 day shifts: 6:45am to 7:00pm
• 2 night shifts: 6:45pm to 7:00am
• Then 4 days off

The rotation then repeats and includes both weekday and weekend working.
